RAMI

In 1956, RAMI started antenna design and manufacturing with its first U.S. Military contract. During the 1960's RAMI was involved with the U.S. Space Program. The company supplied the antennas for the backpacks worn by astronauts during their moon walks.

In 1993, RAMI designed and manufactured a low-profile survivable antenna using state-of-the-art technology. This antenna design established RAMI as a technical supplier for the U.S. Army. RAMI designs and produces antenna systems for the Military, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.

RAMI is an industry leader in custom-design and manufacture of antenna systems for commercial companies; Northrop Grumman, ITT, Lockheed, Boeing, Harris Radio, Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, Sterling, Kenworth, Western Star and others. R.A. Miller Industries is recognized by its Customers as a strong contributor of antenna technology.

RAMI Facility

RAMI's 65,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing and engineering facility is located on 6.5 acres in Grand Haven, Michigan's Airport Industrial Park.  

The RAMI complex includes our electronic antenna test range, two isolation test domes, test track and our exclusive Rotating Vehicle Test Platform (RVTP).  

We also perform extensive in-house full mechanical/environmental testing to ASTM standards and Government requirements.
