The AS-4266A/PRC Antenna is an 8 ft Manpack Antenna for use with portable SINCGARS Radio Systems RT-1439 and RT-1523 or similar systems. The antenna element is connected to a spring assembly which in turn is connected through the GPS assembly to a connector/matching network assembly. A modified BNC connector attaches to the Radio System. The antenna is used when increased range of communications is required. The AS-4266A/PRC is produced to the U.S. Army CECOM Specification A3167801. The included addition of an M45-103A-R L1 GPS assembly and M44-105A 40" long cable assembly provides dual use capabilities which can also be purchased separatly to retrofit existing AS-4266A/PRC antennas. |
