| The AS-4266A/PRC Antenna is an 8 ft Manpack Antenna for use with portable SINCGARS Radio Systems RT-1439 and TR-1523 or similar system. The antenna is made up of an antenna element consisiting of tube sections wich can be disassembled when not in use. The antenna element is connected through the GPS assembly to a gooseneck assembly which in turn is connects to a connector/matching network assembly. A modified BNC connector attaches to the Radio System. The antenna is used when increased range of communications is required. The AS-4266A/PRC is produced to the U.S. Army CECOM Specification A3167801. The included addition of a M45-103A-R (Green) or M46-104A-R (Tan) L1 GPS assembly and M44-105A 40" long cable assembly provides dual use capabilites which can also be purchased separatly to retrofit existing AS-4266A/PRC antennas. |
